Gamer 2012 Challenge

Back around the first of December, I ran across a really cool product:  Gamer Calendars.    A really nice entrepreneur, Chad DeShon, had picked out 52 of the coolest gaming images on BoardGameGeek.com, and with the photographers permission, created a weekly desk calendar out of them.

One of the features of the calendar (besides the cool picture, convenient place to write down appointments, and information about what game is illustrated in the picture) is in the bottom left hand corner of the page:  each week offers a suggestion for gaming.  The first week, which really only included December 26th through January 1st said “This week play a game you got for Christmas”.   I, unfortunantly, could not adhere to this suggestion because I did not receive a game for Christmas.  However, the suggestion for the second week, “This week, play a game in bed”, I could accomplish.

So for a bit of fun, I am setting a goal of performing each weeks suggestion, and I’ll blog about the escapade of course.  We’ll see how long I can keep this up for, and I encourage you to play along!  This week (Monday, January 2nd through Sunday, January 8th) the goal is to play a game in bed.  I still have a couple more days to accomplish this, so you’ll be hearing back from me shortly!

Would you like to get one of these calendars for yourself?  Well, you’re in luck!  You can still order one by clicking here!
